Everything from landscape improvements to routine maintenance, an experienced HOA landscape company can help you increase property value and improve aesthetics. How will you select the right HOA landscaping company? Here are some top considerations when looking for the best [HOA landscaping contractor](https://www.floraterra.com/hoa-landscape-maintenance-contractor/). HOW TO HIRE THE BEST HOA LANDSCAPING COMPANY **Local Experience: ** One of the most important aspects of hiring a contractor is their local experience, you want a professional team that understands local bay area weather and site particulars of your association. Specialized experience means the contractor must have a proven track record, including clients who can validate their experience.   **Creative Outdoor Designs:  **Creative landscape designs must consider many factors including; bay area micro climate, soil type, solar radiation, weather and wind just to name a few.The selection process must also include types of plants that are verdant, pest resistant, and sustainable for bay area conditions.   **Expertise and Methodology: **From tree types to sustainable landscaping, an exceptional [commercial landscape designer](https://www.floraterra.com/commercial-landscape-designer/) can advise you on ways to improve property aesthetics and reduce your common area maintenance costs. Considerations for conserving water would include converting water thirsty lawns  to drought friendly landscaping, native trees and water efficient irrigation. **Seamless Transition and Management: **Most great companies start with a great account manager. A dedicated account manager should be assigned to your site, more importantly, the account manager must be seasoned, pro-active in their communications, responsive, and one that supports your unique goals and ambitions. As with most community managers, you have a lot ton your plate, especially when you have several other condo associations to manage. Hire an experienced HOA landscape company who can provide year-round management support.
